Only problem was that when trying to use the supplied Support DVD, initally this does not run with a fault-report saying that Operating System is not supported.

Solution is to simply open the contents of the DVD in an Explorer Window where one finds that the individual special apps. etc which were written for Vista (32/64x) do in fact run OK with Win7.

A good feature is that one can update the BIOS directly out of the BIOS Setup. To do this you need to have previously downloaded the new BIOS file from the ASUS Support Web Site. As alternative there is a windows- based update utility on the DVD.

I would not hesitate to reccomend purchase of this board, and would buy it again myself if needed.

Switches to ht 3.0 full speed fsb of the phenom II series, fully compliant with all am2 and am3 cpu's (this may have changed, unaware of any new cpu's that exclude the am2+ slots, was considered with 1055t 1090t, but am2+ plus compliance ended up eventuating in the products)
4 dimm slots, space for heaps of ram.
pcie 16x and 1x are version 2.0
IDE slot for old school hdd's or optical.
onboard video will play source games ( on low ) hd video etc, and is always great just in case scenarios, or testing of dedicated video.
vga + dvi and not utterly certain, but imagine it would dual output with the onboard video.
hybrid crossfire with hd 3450/3470 for dual gpu use of onboard video and discrete, though if graphics what ones after.. nothing like this ever beats a decent $ video card.
