This product works, it does what you want, it has amazing overlock potential, it's VERY VERY widely used so user forums can give instant feedback and there are complete step-by-step guides on setup if needed. From the first time you raid to tweaking every little bit. Amazing board.
If you need more than 6 Sata and don't want to just get a cheap addon card then buy a diff board but this is a great one!

Incredibly stable board that provides unlimited possibilities. If you can still get one, then GET IT! I have not been able to get another since I bought my first.

For the price of the V2..its for real computers from home use to gaming with the I7 ..Works like a rocket out of the box and OC's to 3.8 without a problem and is rock solid.(you can oc higher but why??)
Works real well with asetek LCLC and is set up with northbridge fan standoffs and supplied secondary chipset fan.. very quiet too! in power save mode it is like being turned off. Bios setup is easy to grasp and bundled software is the nuts. Well laid out board and everything fits well. I personally will not tolerate andy glitches nor equipment caused failures or grief.. I want and get 100% out of my puter or I sell it. That is the bottom line
Running a 920 I7 in this board will make you fall in love again..
Now if we can get a OS that matched this unit in function we WILL be golden.

After assembling my system I changed the boot order. After trying to change the boot order back the system would not post and a local repair facility advised me the mobo was dead. RMA'd the board and reassembled the system, depending on repair facility to be certain of connections. Again aian I changed the boot order to accomodate a USB drive, and again, upon trying to change the boot order back, this motherboard also died. ASUS has not responded. Advice: If you must have this board, leave the boot order alone!!
