Cambridge SoundWorks i765 reviews

soundboard
on April 27, 2010
I went online to buy a Bose expected until I read the reviews and realized that it is better / cheaper products out there. Surfing the Internet led me i765. Reviews are mostly positive and the price was much better than Cambridge SoundWorks i765 value than the Bose. A few days before Christmas I called the 1-800 number and ordered my $ 249 plus taxes. had promised free delivery 2 days and delivery before Christmas. I've been late on Christmas Eve. My wife is technically challenged and have a real problem with my purchase of electronics, it can not work. I promised her it would be different. I have a point to unpack boxes and put it to her. Within 10 minutes we were playing in our local FM stations and CD set. In the evening we settled in our iPod. All Cambridge SoundWorks i765 price works great, he played every CD (including the old, old Boz Skaggs), I gave it and the sound damn nice. It meets our large kitchen / living room and the remote control from virtually anywhere. I'm not sure if the price jumped to the clock radio of $ 10 to $ 250, but it certainly is not my native GE bedside clock radio. I am very satisfied with this product, and although I get the original box in the garage just in case, I seriously doubt I will return it. It's perfect, he is a much FM preset buttons, has the remote control is a good size, easy to read and understand all the buttons, the sound is good, and it looks great on our kitchen counter. I tried to set short in my favorite talk radio station AM and do not have a good reception, but since I played a bit with a loop antenna, it seemed better. I am confident that I can adapt it better a little more effort. FM stations to get Cambridge SoundWorks i765 Price n solid. Overall, no complaints. I am glad I found this car, and I would love someone that, to tell if paid for the Bose but look for the Cambridge SoundWorks i765 price, you do not find a high price for i765 is a good way to go.

I'm not a Bose hater; in fact I have several other products from Bose to include 2 sets of noise cancelation headphones, life style music system, and some computer speakers. However, as I started looking for a good table top radio it was hard to justify Bose's price compared to Cambridge Soundworks i765. The i765 DVD/CD/IPOD/Radio is incredible. A side note, I was able to catch one of Cambridge's open box sales and I picked this system up with additional discoutns for $150. This system is usually compared to Bose Sound Wave but, it should also be compared to the Bose SoundDock systems too. Here is why, the i765 basically combines the two Bose's systems in to one. Let's compare:

Cambridge Soundworks Radio I765
Cost: $299 (However, Cambridge SoundWorks has open box systems for $199 when available)

Features:
+ Integrated iPod dock
+ Plays video from iPod and DVDs for full audio/video entertainment
+ Supports CDs, MP3/WMA on writable CDs
+ AM/FM radio entertainment with 16 FM/8AM presets (If you listen to the radio)
+ Radio Data Service (RDS) text displays station information - song titles, artist names
+ Dual alarms with wake from iPod
+ Intuitive menu adjusts Bass, Treble, Stereo/Wide/Mono, Loudness
+ Can operate all functions of your Ipod from the remote (convenient only if you can see the screen to navigate through albums, genres, etc, but very usually when navigating through album tracks from across the room)
+ Comes standard with a dual voltage power plug, very important if you travel outside of the US.

Lacks:
- HD Radio
- Not as visually appealing as the Bose Wave
- Front panel buttons are impossible to operate in the dark.
- Remote control is also impossible to operate in the dark
- Not officially certified compatible with the iPhone

Bose Wave® music system:
Cost:
Wave CD - $499
Wave Premium Bundle for Ipod - Reg. 639.98 now on sale until 9/30/10 for 579.95. Comes with a better remote.
Wave Ipod Connect Kit- 599.90

Features:
+ Supports MP3/WMA on writable CDs.
+ AM/FM radio (If you listen to the radio)
+ Alarm wake up
+ Can operate all entertainment functions without remote

Lacks:
- HD Radio
- Cannot play video from iPod or DVDs
- No integrated iPod dock. This has to be purchased separately, thus the various prices listed above.
- Cannot operate all functions of your IPod from the remote (unless you purchase the premium upgrade)
- Cannot operate all entertainment functions without remote
- AM/FM radio entertainment only stores 6 FM/6AM presets vs. 16 FM/8 AM of the i765 (If you listen to the radio)
- Does not allow Radio Data Service (RDS) text displays station information - song titles, artist names
- Does not allow for dual alarms with wake from iPod, unless you purchased the Ipod Kit.
- Doesn't come with a dual voltage charger standard.
- Cannot adjust Bass or Treble.
- Does not have Stereo/Wide/Mono, Loudness

Bose SoundDock® music system
Cost:
SoundDock II - $299.95
SoundDock 10- $599.95

Features:
+ Integrated iPod dock
+ Can operate basic iPod functions with remote

Lacks:
- AM/FM radio (If you listen to the radio)
- Cannot play DVDs or CDs
- Cannot adjust Bass or Treble.
- Does not have Stereo/Wide/Mono, Loudness

Since I will eventually make this system wireless with an Apple AirPort express base station, additional comparisons are as follows:

Cambridge Soundworks Radio i765 + AirPort express:
Cost: $299 + $99= $400
Features:
+ Can operate the i765 from your iPhone or iPod. This allows you see the albums or radio station you are selecting.
+ Can control the i765 music selection from your computer.

Disadvantage:
- Additional cost for the AirPort express
- Music controls are limited by the distance from the player.

Bose Systems:
SoundDock® wireless music system
Cost: $549.95
Wave® music system- Soundlink
Cost: $549.95

Features:
+ Can control the SoundDock music selection from your computer.
+ Very simple setup.

Disadvantage:
- Cannot visually select an album or radio station without going to your computer.
- Music controls are limited by the distance from the player.

To be honest Cambridge Soundworks offers a wireless iTune system for $149, which is very similar to the Soundlink from Bose. If I purchased that system my features and disadvantages would be the same.

Summary, when you compare sound quality I can't see Bose's Wave, SoundDock II or the Soundlink wireless system beating it by much if at all. I'm sure there would be some sound quality difference between the SoundDock 10 and the i765, how much I do not know. The sound of the i765 is absolutely unbelievable. If you don't care about the CD/DVD features then the i755 is $50 cheaper. This is a no brainer if you are looking for a great Table radio that can double has a great home entertainment system. I hope his helped.

DVD player down after about 10 hours. The producer was receptive to buy for my Cambridge SoundWorks i765 for the best price problem after I mentioned that I saw a few reviews, the DVD problems stressed. I was told to return the item (the producer paid for shipping) and the new one is sent to me. There was no question about repairing my side. I returned the device, but have not received a replacement. Instead, I noticed that my credit card refunded the purchase price. No explanation for this change in action was given to me. I now Cambridge SoundWorks i765 is not a price.

I had a problem with my DVD player, which took some time to determine. I thought DVD is of poor quality, but it was unity. So I sent back to Cambridge (under warranty), where she Cambridge SoundWorks i765 prices were a unit for 2 weeks. If you call them have no update or status on repair or even that they got it. It seems that they take 4 weeks to check the system. I think for the money I paid for this thing that they could at least pick up the tab list to resolve it in and send them to quickly as 4 weeks. I appreciate the service and products because I think their Cambridge SoundWorks i765 prices for services have not much I can not give them high marks.

They do not care that they get to buy Cambridge SoundWorks i765 for the best price low ratings here. Says she has business in this way for 25 years and they still in business. Perhaps, if their products are not manufactured in China, there was not much to blame their products.

First, I do not see it as a player of DVD, but especially for radio and IPod docking, as well as occasional Cambridge SoundWorks i765 price of the CD.

As for sound quality, the product is good, not great. In fact, I prefer Radio Boston Acoustics sound quality, but one I did not get any CD player or iPod dock. I love him more than sold on the Bose, at a much lower buy Cambridge SoundWorks i765 for the best price value. He has to fill a lot of energy in the room with sound, but the sound seems not to be opened and a little thin. Still, compare it with a typical clock radio, and would put to shame. He has two speakers and two built-food categories.

The radio was a disappointment. I hear much talk radio, and my Boston Acoustics will draw well in the relatively distant stations. Not so with this. For example, had my PR Cambridge SoundWorks i765 Radio prices D is a small problem with a decent reception from one station of the bay, which I imagine is 60-80 miles. I think try to pretend to Cambridge pretty unlistenable. Basically a lot of static. I ordered a replacement antenna morning to tackle this problem. As for FM, it is pretty much the same as that of Boston Acoustics. Buy Cambridge SoundWorks i765 for the best price

Be prepared for the size of the device. It's not really designed for typical clock radio with iPod, Cambridge SoundWorks i765 now included for the best price CD, DVD, electricity. With his support, it stands 5 "high and 14" wide and 11 "deep. Check for yourself, place him.

Controls on the front panel is not user friendly. In addition to volume control, a series of 22 small buttons. Most of them choose to input Cambridge SoundWorks i765 radio presets D prices, but I like to listen to when I sleep at night and I'm not going practically memorizing the position of the buttons on the touch screen.

Even if I focused on some negative constraints block, in general, I give him four for the more acceptable sound quality, its price on comparable products (by Cambridge for $ 249 buy-free with delivery), and his versatility, especially T Cambridge SoundWorks Comparison i765 price he iPod dock that works very well.
