The latest HD-DVR available from DirecTV is the best HD-DVR available, hands down! Maybe I cannot say that unequivocally, but if you put this DVR up against the best available from Comcast and Dish Network (I have extensive experience with both), it's better.
Why? More intuitive menus and guide features, better remote, better picture quality (especially against Comcast & Dish Network), bigger hard drive, 1080P support, RF availability.
TiVo sucks, if you aren't a complete novice, it's annoying and frustrating.
