I've had a few different scanners over the years from Epson, HP, and Canon but this one definitely makes the grade for my needs. With digital cameras, I don't really have a need to scan many photos but this scanner definitely makes short work of that when needed.
Mostly I use it to scan documents, financial statements, etc. to reduce the amount of paperwork I keep at the house and it handles this with ease. I've had no issues using the basic functions with Windows 7 so far and absolutely love this scanner.
