Best GPS for someone who would like a GPS Garmin GPSMAP 76CS Vielzweckpastillen - GPS receiver price, and not just a car.
PS I travel all over Europe with him as a GPS. Everything you need to do is load a different set of maps (Europe)
I have in the U.S. and Europe on my computer, it is easy to replace or install additional software.

And with a brand new state of the art receivers and powerful microprocessors, these units will give you a quick fix and smooth. In addition, GPSMAP 76CS, built-in electronic compass and barometric altimeter. GPSMAP 76CS has the familiar GPS 76-family keypads and style, with 115 MB memory, a base map of America Autoroute and a database of marine Point. Fast USB connectivity makes loading charts and maps quick and easy, while navigation instructions can be shared with repeaters, plotters, and autopilots using NMEA protocols through the dedicated serial port. It is waterproof and fully compatible with MapSource products like BlueChart, U.S. Topo 24K, and City Select (which provides detailed streets turn-by-turn guidance).
