After my 5 buy Gateway DX4831-01E for the best price old HP crashed, I had to replace it fairly quickly because I use my computer daily work. All I had to get all the research that I have the same thing when I bought this computer to buy. I was skeptical about buying Gateway for, say, Dell or HP, because I am a few years ago was not as great, but I decided to risk it because he is a powerful computer for the money, and I 'm very happy with my decision. There are several things I wanted from him was, as another optical drive, but my old computer had 2 drives, and I Hardley ever used it, as I ave Ipod and not burn the CD, many more. The only thing, and it is not very large, is concerned with the keyboard. It is strange, but after it a week or so now he has a good job. In general, if you have a computer from Gateway DX4831-01E price of your list, I say, Go for it, you will not be disappointed!

I saw this review in March, and completely sealed it in my new household. Everything was wonderful, big car, but ...
Recent updates have made Windows 7 computer run very slowly ... so slow, it took three minutes to open the Start menu. A clean reset to factory default state ... all in the normal state, Gateway DX4831-01E Price worked great. I decided to install any software, then Windows will not let this thing. After the third restart to "important" updates that it ran super slow. So it's not a virus or a program issue a third-party ... the computer itself is at odds with some new addition to the Windows 7 Home Premium supplement (available operating system that came on your computer).
Due to the fact that cleaning up the newly done on the computer Gateway DX4831-01E prices back to normal, the company "Gateway says," that this is not their problem, not covered. They were my third-party computer to the site, the $ 150 fee would only come to look at and fix the computer. So, only one third of the cost of the computer, I can someone to my house and say the equipment is compatible with the software of the operating system.
My fix, I am planning a clean reinstallation, or simply disable Windows Update.

I think that was a lot, and I'm happy with my purchase. This is a definite upgrade from my Dell, but it was about five years, and I think in 5 years I will be back a little behind the technology curve.
I do not like the pre-installed trial versions of Gateway DX4831-01E price of software applications. I can test drive your own online if I want. I know all the vendors to do this, but I prefer not to be.
