I use this board in a nettop server setup with 2 SATA drives and 2GB RAM. I purchased this after becoming interested in the Atom processor my Dell Mini 9 has. For the light tasks I use this for(net surfing,Document writing,DVD playback, my niece even made a short video about low power computing, using this for a communications class she takes) it does a great job and is even a little peppier than the aging Dell it replaced.
It also does a good job of using a whole lot less power, about 50watts under full load.
So far I have used Ubuntu 8.10, Windows XP and am currently running Windows 7 beta, all with no problems.
