Im running this head unit to a 1000W Profile 4ch amp, to 2 sets of Polk db 6500 with a Kenwood KSC-SW1 powered sub to round out the spectrum. I also have the XM black box and digital adapter.
The Pros: The USB and SD card options are a real breakthrough in music options. The deck can operate a 512Mb SD card, and a 4GB flash drive. This means no more CDs rolling around in my truck. The sound quality is amazing! The motorized face works smoothly, and seems fairly sturdy.
The Cons: This head unit has a pretty large learning curve. Because of the single knob/enter button, scrolling and selecting options can be kind of a pain. Initial setup is also a painstaking task. It has sound settings for every seat and speaker in the car, but trust me, the sound quality is worth the 1.5 hour setup. Also, the display is a little on the grainy side.
Overall I would highly recommend this unit. Once youve taken the time to learn the menus, its a great unit for the money.

The Good News:
Great unit with lots of manual controls (subwoofer volume, bbe, sound staging, etc.) and the AUX/USB/SD ports work flawlessly.
The Bad News:
The SD reader only supports FAT16. The largest card can only be 2GB. Be careful not to inadvertently format the card using FAT32 (I couldn't figure out how to re-format the card to FAT16). In case you didn't know, 2GB is approximately the size of 3 burned cds. If that's enough storage for you, then this is an awesome deck. But, if you want to use higher capacity SD cards, then wait until JVC releases a unit compatible with SDHC.
