JVC has a high failure rate with this. (I found several JVC SR DVM700US -. DVD Recorder / VCR Combo value of this and all failed) JVC has recognized this and have this problem. They do a good job with the repair, but they pale in weeks not worth the price.

While I have a problem making synchronization between devices (DVD-HD MiniDV).
