Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver reviews

After he worth the Garmin Nuvi 785t and TomTom 740 LIVE I decided to Magellan it a try as I have heard that they were acquired Mitec internationally, they think Mio GPS and other I own. So I drove 50 miles Best Buy, they have in the Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver and were the share prices of purchased for $ 299.99 and since I have AAA, I received a second year warranty for free from AAA.

Since I've only had it less than 24 hours, I can not give a very good review, but from what I've seen 785t and 740 LIVE is burned side. Speech recognition system in 4700, certainly over 740 LIVE, I will not be repeated five times and still can not for the GPS Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver price to understand. The screen on the 4700 is great in direct sunlight, where as 740 and 785 and rinsed in sunlight.

Tickets for 4700 are the same and there are many new roads that none of the other two were and how the diversion of the repainting navagation is much faster than other two.I truly believe that life does not find its way 740 was made of cardboard!

Both Garmin and TomTom have so many mistakes have been made, it is not worth keeping either of them, it's like 4700 never seems good enough with Magellan currently a new company owned the work, I hope that all the problems of customer service are now gone, too.

In general, I think, Tha Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver price T, the holder for me at least.

Since this is my first GPS I have no others to compare it. I Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver prices lifted it to a comparison of other brands and other models of Magellan. Not all features live up to advertising.
Menu to use a lot of practice!
I wonder if the voice commands to get to good for the users of voice work. Voice worked some in the house, but very bad in the car. At its current level of computer systems, voice I had expected better, and options such as voice commands from your phone.
The biggest disappointment that you are indeed able to get map updates are no extra cards, but the U.S. can and Mex. Overlooking one of the internal tables have the opportunity for other regions.
Speaking of internal Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver price tables, an empty space for MP3 and photos, they would have been NICE!

That's what I did: I bought a 140T and Garm Magellan 4700th Both have many similarities, such as the size of the screen. However, they are far apart in their cost.

We took both units to 50 miles to drive. Both made mistakes, but how did the job. Close Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver enough money.

Graphics on the Magellan were better. Garmin is acceptable.

Forget the voice region. Megallan function. Road noise is widespread, and it's never understood that one of our teams (in all fairness, it takes time to find the device to your voice).

Garmin uses a variety of piano-gloss black finish. Magellan use of cheap housing is painted silver on one side, which is scratch and chip.

USB for Garmin, Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver port price was on the back. Magellan has done much better by the USB port on the bottom. Much better.

At $ 249 as of Aug 09, is a great price for Vey good (not good) GPS device.

Magellan North America is limited to the ride, while Garmin can be global.

Magellan has in my opinion, even better unit! Good choice.

The opening of the two fields Magellan includes a good protective case and a color booklet instructions. Garmin disclaims any case only a small b / w manual.

After a full charge of both units. Recharged, I began the process of pairing your phone and my home address. Both were in the same simple Bluetooth, but Magellan quickly realized where I was and took the Northern Garmin Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver min value of l.

Magellan was miserabally, and when we tested the cell phone calls with him. As a speaker at the back of the group was a small, tin, and calls for a crash sound.

We took on a sunny and ay in the dashboard, where the bright sun was obvious. Garmin screen uses large icons so when you are older or visual disturbances are dominated by the ease Garmin consideration. Excellent.

Garmin has been hard to voice commands. Magellan was much closer in sound quality and a bit slower in the presentation Islands Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver prices and SA allows us to fully get directions.

Overall a very good GPS. I 765T Garmin in my car and now the 4700 in my car woman. We rent many Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver cars worth more than a year and never lost the GPS in rental cars to ask. Thus we have achieved as a model of the Magellan better than Garmin. Both major GPS, but I must say that I am now, like the Magellan better than my Garmin. I told my wife that I would trade, and not say. She likes the sound of a bell Magellan uses just before the Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS turn, the cost of the receiver.

You need to upgrade the firmware version 2.06, before doing anything else. Today's GPS systems have a lot of bells and whistles, and 4700 is no exception. He's just a Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver price a few steps from the best on the market. The purpose of the use of GPS to records from point A to point B 4700, in this case. He chooses the logical route and gives you opportunities to buy at the shortest distance to the Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver for the best price and fast speed, etc. Garmin is great, but not enough to turn the list are required. Tomtom loaded with features, but chooses routes crazy sometimes. You'll be happy camper the first choice for Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver price Magellan e 4700th

I have both 4250 and 4700, but I get more for my buck Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver cost of 4250th
Also, I've never been to take his eyes off the road when the voice recognition on the 4250, 4700, I have to touch the issue symbol, first, that you make from your eyes off the road.

Most of the contributions in this model, from people who have just taken out of the box and drove 50 miles with him or buy Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver for the best price he has less than a day. Guests should not be even allowed to appear here. I have this terrible disease within 6 months of ownership and regret give up my TomTom ONE every day. Perhaps our friends, the Yankees have more luck, but in Canada not to go. I returned the unit thinking it was just a bad GPS - device replacement was the same. Uploaded on Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver value with little effort and some not so small margins

Cons: (some)
- Evaluation of the arrival time is not absolutely true for most trips are not properly fixed, while in walking distance (the number of a very large anger) are
- Very slow typing on the touch of a button, the user response (NUMBER two huge trouble)
- It is not possible to make adjustments to the user, the TomTom device, the basic functions of the brain fart
- Bluetooth calls is not clear at this time and slowly make your call at the time of Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver prices often leave the other person to say "hello" several times until you hear not even pick up at the other end .
- If you send the detours often when you know that there is a faster way. Manually to your choice? Own? Route often provides the device with the exception of the time and mileage of the trip, then you should ask yourself.
- Some roads will not be easy on the WWW, although T Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver prices hey there for many years
? - No FM transmitter / Plays MP3, how to use it with a smaller cousin of the Model 4300
-? Side of the road? (? Appointments in the 100 meters to the left?) Sometimes false advertising for your destination
- 3D function of the building has not worked in Canada.
- MAP spending a rip off, like most GPS devices

Went to his British beauty Jane "in the TomTom GO 730 yesterday and it was now $ 140 for low-PRI Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver for the best price CE only $ 139 + tax CAD $ Futu buy Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver for the best price reShop, in the hope that it is much better than this piece of junk Magellan (Magellan 4300 My wife is just as bad.

I have to ride the 4700 and Garmin 285WT Test. Both were very similar and it uses NavTech card. Garmin looked better in a well-polished case. One of the obvious, I think Magellan is missing, the power display. You can not really Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver value to say whether the device is properly connected. Another thing it does not have any "sleep" mode, which is very useful sometimes. I loved the sound of the bell that indicates where in the queue. I also loved the track auxiliary function. Magellan was very quickly get a satellite Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver, the cost of the signal, even if you turn the first time. It was very impressive. Unlikely to have a few seconds from acquit also signals a cold start. Only disappointment to phone speaker and microphone.
I was just able to my phone (HTC Tilt 8900) for the first time couple. But after I turn off Bluetooth and on, it takes time to assemble them, only after the Bluetooth connection and on. If in the area it should automatically pair with my phone when it is coupled.
Overall a very good device and is the first Magellan Maestro 4700 - GPS receiver price e-Prize.
