I had a '66 for several years now and have no plans to change.
If M-Audio Delta 66 sound card for the best price to buy the most comfortable and best sound card I used in this price range.
As in many applications, the matter is that it is so easy to use, the lack of interference, and the focus on the essentials. So there is no built-in MIDI sounds (they are always crap anyway), nothing new FX, no reverb, delay, chorus, etc. - who needs those, the sound card with all plug-in software M-Audio Delta 66 sound card prices to?
What do you have a very simple robust enough "breakout box" with four analog inputs and four analog outputs - although, like many of us internally mix usually only two outputs can be useful for monitoring purposes.
Signals arriving at the patch panel are connected by a strong cable to the card, which also comes with a digital in and out.
The set is also updated with the addition of Bo Omni Breakout M-Audio Delta 1966 Sound Card x balanced XLR inputs, preamps and headphone outputs.
Bargain piece of kit, do not disappoint this at every level.
