As always, to do some research before buying this unit, and one of the main complaints about the slow unit, Samsung BD-P1500 prices at boot time, it was not to be feared, as somehow "felt" normal, as expected. Graphics and sound noticeably jumped me from their seats.

Simple, with support for HDMI-CEC, which is good to play the disc insertion, switch on the TV and change the input source Blu-Ray and begins to play. Clean and easy to change menu and display settings. Although not really say which have advantages, and xvYCC 1080/24fps options is always nice features.

Besides the fact that this player does not decode DTS-HDMA that player has met expectations. Firmware upgrades super easy with the Ethernet port. They called me and said that the parts were covered by the warranty but not labor intensive. $ 80.00 up to fix relatevely new unit, and they did not move. I even e-mail Samsung Corp relations with the U.S., and they will not budge. So I told them I would bad mouth Samsung BD-P1500 price of the product, as well as I could. Sony PS3 now ..... I love.it.

Around $ 200 an excellent value and I Samsung BD-P1500 price can not tell the difference in picture quality on the PS3 my son on my Samsung PN58650A.
