I think that if Samsung decides to launch this product with a low prize i will be willing to accept a two year contract. And for the people that don't get this, THE SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 10.1 IS GOING TO HAVE 4G AVIABILITY.

These little gadgets will drop in price in the very near future..early adopters always get gouged!
these tablets are all about $200 or FREE with a 2 year subscription to your telephone carrier of choice!FREE with a 2 year subscription to your telephone carrier of choice, it won't be long...
With the same price tag as Ipad 2 , It will be very very hard to make the right call. Coz u can't go wrong either way. Apple does not Compromise, neither did Sumsung. On my own, will go With samsung. The longer it take for us market, the less it will ship. They need to capitalized on ipad shortage and offer this thing Now! We dont know how long we gonaa hold on to this 500 us dollars. With ipad 2 callin.
The android Market always let me download what I need from around the world. Less apps, I have more apps!~

This is the first tablet where I can read my .pdf magazines without either waiting for the page turns 10+ seconds or straining my eyes. Honeycomb's homescreen organization makes it possible to organize all the info I really care about in a glance; on one screen I have my mail/news previews, on the other facebook and linked-in while on others the programs I use most often. The screen is amazingly clear and bright even out on the sun. The built-in light sensor adjusts the screen brightness really well. The onscreen keyboard is big enough to enable typing without making mistakes and is very, very responsive. I actually type on it ( 10 finger ) almost as fast as on a real keyboard. What I was really amazed about is the battery life. A full charge lasts at least 5 days with about 3~4 hours of active use per day, which includes 24/7 wifi connectivity and a bit of angry-birds here and there...
When the real 10.1 gets out, then it's mine!
Even though most of the features of the galaxy tab is at par with that of Apple's Ipad, I 'd have to say that being able to use the galaxy tab as a phone definitely made it more practical to buy rather than an ipad. Having a galaxy tab is like having an iphone and an ipad at the same time; and another great thing about this product is its size. Very portable compared to the ipad, which is always screaming for attention making the owners a target for the robbers. Its just not practical to walk around town with an ipad but with the galaxy tab, life just got easier.
So, one doesn't buy an iPad because its closed, its proprietary... its Apple. One goes for Android because its open and it allows you to do stuff... and what? the new tablets don't have inbuilt USB ports? The whole point of a tablet is to make it portable and usable wherever you are, and you can't slide in a USB pen drive to read a document quickly. They will tell you you need to carry a keyboard dock, so then whats the point of a tablet vs a netbook?
I can't understand this new trend of removing features instead of adding or at least keeping them in (Yes I am also referring to you Asus, with that nice cool Eee Pad Transformer with a perfect screen BUT also without USB!). Do the product managers live on another planet or what?
There aren't a lot of details that Samsung is officially putting out there about this product which I think is confusing a lot of people. There are connectivity ports via the dock, the final version will have a micro SDHC slot up to 32 GB, and the back will be aluminum as opposed to the version that was reviewed here which I believe was the developer versions that were given to those who attended Google's I/O conference. In short I am waiting to hear and confirm all of this from Samsung when this product officially launches June 8th 2011 but I think this tablet has the makings to be great. The only question is do you wait for "Kal-El" or buy now?
