For the price one would pay, chose a different phone. The phone I upgraded from to this was superior. This model is not intuitive nor is it fun. I would never recommend this model. Even the main purpose of the phone, to call people, was thwarted by constantly having to ask them to repeat themselves due to the poor sound. Another aspect I could not stand was the fact that, though there was an option to silence the camera sound, it was grayed out so it could not be changed. And a small grievance, which one can see going into it, is that there is no recording function. But that again is something that it does not hide.
Therefore: Go for a different phone. My experience was not a happy one.

This phone has very average looks, Samsung should learn something from Apple or Sony and start making something stylish even for low-end market
You just want a good mobile phone so you can make some calls, right? Okay, maybe you want a phone that can also handle some messaging. And some emails. And if it had a camera, that would be nice, too. You just want a good phone that does messaging and has a camera and that's all. But with fast downloads and worldwide support and a dozen other cool, useful things. In other words, you want the Samsung SGH A237.
