I purchased this ST360021A Seagate drive mostly due to it's sound level of <2bels. It is so quiet, I had to touch it to even tell it was spinning. You will think that it is not working. Track to track seeks are very quiet also. Now most of the noise from my system, come from the fans.

I just bought this one yesterday and the install was a breeze, it is very quiet.It makes my system run more smoothly, anyone who wants a great harddrive should get this one it is a winner.

Pro: quiet, huge (60GB),came with Retrospect Express backup software ($50 value) Con: runs hot...need hard drive cooling fan Overall:my past experience have been great with Seagate drives and hope this one doesn't disappoint

I have had this drive since October. I have not had a single problem. This drive is very fast and quiet. If you are looking for a fast and reliable drive this is the one.

I love the drive. It has absolutely no problems compared to the 60 gig maxtor that i purchased which was actually faster in specs than this drive however i had 3 of them die in a row

I bought this drive on good reviews and its reputation for being quiet. I still cannot believe how quiet it is. It does run a bit hot, but os far no problems at all.
