For the price and recommendations Consumer Reports - it was a total Sony RDR-VX560 W VCR / cost of a waste of money because the motor does not work and have it repaired - just go out and buy a new and hope it works better .

This is my first DVD recorder, and I buy a Sony RDR-VX560 W / VCR for the best price impressed with its capabilities and ease of use. Identification and titles are the wind, rewriting touch simple and excellent video quality for the price range.

Documentation for installation on an HDMI cable for your cable TV and they have not in the directions as it works with Sony RDR-VX560 W / VCR price receivers can not specify the absorption characteristics 1080i. (My TV, receiver all have HDMI ports.)
I would not buy this product again. It took me 3 days, everything needs to properly configure. The main reason I bought this box to record from our TV. It would be easier to connect to my computer with the cable! Do not waste your weekend settiing this box to 1080i, you'll be disappointed to record.

I Like recording flexibility and USB Sony RDR-VX560 Now W / VCR for a better entry price, but a moratorium on the DVD playback is the product of a killer. Not recommended product. Sony should be ashamed.
