This phone is perfect! We have a base and additional handsets, and both look great, hardworking, effective complement to our fully computer VTech i5871 - cordless phone w / call waiting caller ID and answering system price of an integrated family. It connects to a computer via USB, so you can sync with Outlook, you can download (Farbe!) I bought this phone to my old Panasonic 900 MHz, which worked great for replacing more than ten years, until he finally died on me. I bought this phone to replace V-Tech 5881, which I really liked, but thought it would be a step. I was very wrong. As the poster before me, I live in a big house and want a phone system buy VTech i5871 - cordless phone w / call waiting caller ID and voice mail for the best price with multiple handsets that I can put around the house.
I bought 5 tubes, including the base and install it created exactly as my system was 5881 - with the base in my office at the back of the first floor and phones in separate rooms upstairs and down.
At first I thought phones too far from the VTech i5871 - cordless phone w / call waiting caller ID and answering machine compare price basis, but even when I'm near the base, the phone is the "search based on" or "no connection "When I read the button to talk (no toot) I was the speakerphone at the base of most of the time, as the only reliable phone that I am now - although the base does not have a keyboard so I can not connect .

The design is great. Most phones are ugly. It is not quite VTech i5871 - cordless phone w / call waiting caller ID and voicemail Compare Faberge egg, but it is stylish. I bought a phone last year and he started to work. You can download images and sounds via USB, export contacts from Outlook or other programs, record your own ring tones. Since I bought it in October 2006, I had a lot of problems ...
